I came for the first time a few weeks ago and got the surf n turf, some tacos, and jollof. As a Nigerian local guide, I must... admit, the Ghana jollof was delicious! I have been driving past this truck for at least a year now I finally decided to call these fellows and ask first if they were... even down the hill by Weequahic Park before making the trip?.to be fair I had two different menu options with this vendor and ifI?m being honest the food is very pricey (overpriced if u ask me) for the portions and quality of food served that is highlyover salted? I got a burrito my first trip which had more rice than anything, barely any lettuce and only one small section hadthe sauce they drizzle in it which did nothing to mask how much salt they used .. my second trip Thursday, I ordered a taco bowlwhich came out to $27 and change, very meagerly portioned, and again very very salty. I solely went to this place in support ofblack owned businesses and to give a fair assessment since my first experience wasn?t that great? I doubt I?ll go back for athird try , but I wish them success and hope they alter those prices , portions and salt that overwhelmed any other flavor oneshould be able to taste? Good Luck ?? Read more
I must say I wasn?t pleased with this food at all. The tacos were tasteless and the jollof was way too SALTY! lacked taste and... honestly bits of burnt rice was all over my meal. (This is coming from another African). I really hope they brush up on theircooking and customer service skills. Read more
Stopped by on the recommendation of JL Jupiter and they did not disappoint me. Ordered the crabmeat and shrimp quesadilla, along... with the trifecta burrito. They were both excellent. I'll definitely swing by again. Keep up the good work fellas. Read more
