Awesome local selection by my son for his 12th Birthday!!! Was kinda nostalgic eating delicious Vegetable Gyoza along with... This is my first proper sushi place, and it was good. Like many of my Indian friends, I was skeptical about putting raw fish in... my mouth. Coming out of this place, I had two revelations: Sushi comes with baked fish too and Sushi is edible, and it tastesgood. The waitress was particularly great, I don't get all the bashing against the restaurant's service in other reviews. Whenwe mentioned that we are first timers, she patiently answered our questions and was kind enough to suggest almost the entiredinner for us. Ordered Ironbound fried sushi, American dream sushi, Chicken Yakisoba, Chicken Udon, Teriyaki chicken and friedbanana desert. I did not enjoy my food experience. I?ll at least give it 2 stars for the service. Our waiter was nice. But the sushi?rice... seemed old, a bit hard. Some of the flavor combinations for the sushi were odd. I was just not a fan. And for the price, Iwasn?t happy. Read more
That's the best sushi in Newark... Everything is fresh and the options they have are always delicious!! But I'm only giving 3... stars because of the girl that takes the order and she's the same one that takes the orders over the phone... She disrespect meover the phone one time and in person she's not professional at all...
