The food is delicious, service and staff are awesome, value is great. Ordered brisket, pulled pork and kobe bacon burger take... out. Order ready on time (best to order ahead), Angel helped us out and everything was exactly correct including my customburger order. All of it was delicious even without the bbq sauce but those were so good too. The kobe burger was one of the bestburgers I've ever had. No disappointments on anything. Read more
Great throw back BBQ house! Linoleum table tops, bar stools with gleaming stainless legs and hooks under the bar seating for... coats and hats. A welcome from the cook facing the bar "Hi Folks! What can I get for you? Food was best. We had pork sandwichthat was tender and flavorful before adding any of the three sauces: vinegar sweet, hot and regular. Used lots of hot as it hadgood flavor wrapped in not too hot spices. Loaded with meat and a delightful bun. Ribs were dry rubbed to perfection. I wasguilty of sucking on the bones just to get a bit more! The brisket was well done with burnt ends. Burnt ends! Nice. Sides ofTexas toast (buttered both sides), creamy mac and cheese, cool cole slaw, cucumber slice, and mustard greens (Louisiana stylewith fat, pork chunks and onions). We sat and savored old town Newberg. This was lunch in style! There's more -- but we didn'tget them: chicken and sausage, anything by the pound. Got the brisket plate & was not impressed by anything I got for the $15 paid. The 6 puny pieces of brisket were sliced thin &... pretty dry. My ?side? of coleslaw was merely a spoonful of it. The pickle had absolutely no flavor. And the Texas toast was noteven freshly toasted & buttered. If you know a good BBQ joint, then you?ll figure out this isn?t one of them.
