we arrived a little early before the dinner crowd. the place was completely full at 630 when we left and it was a thursday... night. I can understand why it is so popular. The food was delicious, plentiful, the service was terrific and on point. greatatmosphere too! It was a great dining experience. Read more
The food was great and everyone was very nice to us for our birthday celebration dinner. However, some family members felt... rushed as the servers were pulling plates away while they were eating. I had to apologize to them on the restaurant?s behalf. Iwas embarrassed and it was my birthday (a few weeks ago). I guess we will be ordering out going forward. Never had an issuebefore. I understand you need to turn tables quickly, but we were barely there an hour. I don?t like feeling rushed especiallyas a regular paying customer. I know it happens sometimes, but if my family members do not feel welcome, you put me in a verydifficult position to provide positive feedback. I will change my rating once there is improvement. I am not one to review places, i just eat and leave. I normally leave reviews to my wife but felt strongly enough to do... this: The food was excellent, the portions were large, and the staff was very pleasant, professional and always available to us.The dress code was a little better than casual so we were able to walk in off the street. Came here last night for our Anniversary. I ordered the stuffed sole. It came out cool, not cold, but I chalked it up to it... being finished prior to the other 5 people in our party. I figured I'd heat it up and have it for lunch today. I was verydisappointed. There were so many scales in the stuffing...more then just a bite here and there, it was loaded with them. Ialso got mashed potatoes and they were very bland. I didn't say anything to the waitress, as she was super nice, and I didn'twant to ruin the celebration we were having. I was also a little disappointed that the one girl cleaning the tables, keptcoming over to see if my friend was done with her dinner, even though she was she eating. The restaurant was not packed and itwas like 7ish on a Sunday. It won't stop us from coming back, but I will not be ordering the fish again. I was just overallbummed, because I was so excited to come and enjoy a great meal, and I was a little let down. I'm hoping it was just an 'off'night. Read more

I?ve lived in newburgh my whole life and I?ve always passed by this little restaurant on DuPont avenue and it was always busy... but I had never been there till last night. Boy do I wish I stopped in much sooner! Absolutely amazing place they staff waswelcoming and helpful both the hostess and the waitress were excellent. First my drink came out and it was very tasty and strongat the same time i don?t know how they did that but all you need is one and your feeling good. Next the mozzarella frites cameout and they were perfect came out extra cheesy and you can tell it was excellent cheese they used. My steak came with a side ofpenne which was awesome both were eye pleasing and stomach pleasing. Decided to treat myself to a desert and I was notdisappointed! That lava cake was everything you wanted it to be. Overall very pleased would recommend to everyone. Read more
