Went on a Sunday evening//only 2 staff showed for their shift: 1cook & 1 wait staff ???? they still served my daughter & myself... In this small town along I-80 called Newcastle, is of course Denny's restaurant. The owner runs the entire show there and he's a... past recipient of manager of the year from the Denny's corporation and I know that because he proudly places that right therewhen you cash out or wish for a seat. Restaurant was spotless and you were attended to before you even thought of it. Completelyimpressed. Never been to a Denny's corp/private restaurant that is that comfortable and wide open. You got plenty of room andlots of windows. Most seats are in booths. Food is well prepared and presented if you didn't like it that's up to you to send itback but I assure you, you're not going to get anything but what you ask in return. Cool spot and it's going to be an asteriskon my trip up to Tahoe from the Sacramento area I'd suggest you do the same. I speech to text so if my grammar's off and thespelling, wel, l let it be. There was 6 of us in our party, ordering off the breakfast and lunch menus. The food was as we ordered and it arrived quickly.... Our Waiter was on top of everything, kept our glasses filled throughout. He was friendly and efficient as well as funny. Woulddefinitely recommend this restaurant and would definitely eat here again.
