German "corporate food" in a casual setting. I'll start with the good - the service was exceptional. The young lady who served... us made a clear effort to make us feel welcomed and taken care of. Well done. It was Saturday evening, and there was a smallband playing in the main dining area. Some would say lively and joyful, others would say "way too loud for dinner time". Weopted to sit outside, where the sitting is not very comfortable. The menu is the classic take on what is perceived in the U.S.as German cuisine. Which would have been fine, if the execution in the kitchen was better. Overall, it tasted like a cateringservice, not a cooked to order meal. The wursts must have been brought from the outside (and were over salted), the potatopancake probably came in frozen, the schnitzel was plain, the cake tasted like a Sysco cake, and so on... For a casual meal itwas fine, I suppose. Only too bad that Americans think that German cooking tastes like this. Read more

Follow me to see what's next! Well, that was disappointing. I have eaten in a LOT of German restaurants around the country.... This one was the most disappointing! The food just wasn't good at all. Two of my dining companions didn't even eat their food. One bite and they were done. It was a very expensive bill for food we didn't really eat. 2? only because our server was niceand knowledgeable. We told her we didn't like the food and she offered to sell us more ???? ?? If this was helpful, hit the???? Read more

We had an excellent experience, when I say experience I mean it's unlike any restaurant we have been to. They had a musician... playing folk music from Germany and USA that put everyone in a great mood. Yes we had had the huge mugs of beer that didn'tdisappoint. We had the Bauern Schnitzel and Bavarian Jägerschnitzel both were awesome with sides of German potato salad andcabbage, everything was fresh. If you are in the area we would definitely recommend this restaurant. Will be back to try otherdishes. Read more

Fun atmosphere for kids and adults. Food is delicious and very reasonably priced! Very rarely I visit a restaurant more than... once on a business trip but I came here 3 nights for dinner! The cream puffs are amazing, a must try for dessert! Read more
