Nice selection of bourbon and beer. The flights are reasonable priced and worth getting, several different choices for all... bourbon taste. Pair a flight of bourbon with a beer, believe me you won't be disappointed. Ordered some food from the Beards &Bellies BBQ that's inside the Wooden Cask Brewing Company. The smoked brisket slider was a home run. Nice flavor and the brisketwas juicy tender. The Broccoli Salad was okay but more of the sauce that was mixed with it would've made that dish great. Thesmoked wings had a good flavor but was dry and tuff. They serve 6 wings ( not whole wings) for $9.00 bucks. Not worth purchasingin my opinion. The Smoked Sausage was 4 small slices of sausage, maybe from a half of a link cut up to make roster coming in at$7.00 bucks. Another item on the menu not worth purchasing for the money. When you leave this place you will smell like youBBQ'D. Not sure if the kitchen exhaust fans are working correctly or if they have one at all. Beer is mostly a matter of preference so a review of the beer is usually useless unless you try it for your self (I enjoy there... beer for what is worth). The brewery itself has plenty of seating with an established food option inside. The staff was veryfriendly and accommodating even when I'm sure he was waiting to go home after the place had closed. Lots of beer choices ,reasonable prices, and great service. That's what I look for in a brewery. Read more
Our second time to stop here for beers and dinner, and we definitely will be coming back! The beer selection is good, and... everything we had were solid beers - IPAs and dark beers - can?t go wrong. What we were REALLY impressed with was the food -Beards and Bellies Barbecue. I had a side of brisket that was fantastic. My vegetarian wife split with me the veggie optionnachos, the potato salad and the broccoli salad. They were all amazing. My friend and I were in town on a quick vacation from Cleveland. We love checking out breweries and were so happy to find this... brewery. Great selection of beers and ciders. I got the Girl Next Door which is a blonde ale, very refreshing with excellenttaste. I then got the Dessert First, a milk stout with bourbon. The taste of bourbon is prominent, tasted a bit like a cherrycordial. The food was pretty good. Really liked the macaroni and cheese. The coleslaw is alright I prefer a creamy slaw...thisis not. My sandwich could have used more BBQ sauce, it was good. Definitely worth checking out. Trivia on Thursday nights. Read more
