If you are in Newport, Zach's bistro is a lovely experience. When I saw the reviews about his one man show, I had to check out... his selection for my birthday dinner. We selected the 3 course menu with wine pairing. Zach's taste was spot on from theINCREDIBLE sourced cheese plate to the lovely smokey red wine that went with my lamb entree. Zach creates a dining experience like none other. His menu and pairing are wonderful and this was the best meal of our... honeymoon. I'd recommend doing a tasting menu and wine pairing and sitting back and enjoying the courses. Absolute highlight wasthe king salmon and tomatillo which changed the way I think about pairing salmon and trout. It was nice to be back after three years and see that Zach is still making stellar food. My husband and I made reservations for... two nights. The entire restaurant operation is run by the chef himself, and he knows what he is doing. From first course todessert, the experience is wonderful and the food made with quality ingredients. We tried the 5-course meals on our first night,and 3-course meals on our second night. Portions were appropriate for the pricing and my husband and I left very full. We had a wonderful dinner at Zach’s. Zach is very warm and welcoming and his food was delicious! We had the fried rockfish... with yummy potatoes with mustard, steamed mussels & crab cake.
