Just had the BEST Italian meal ever in SOCAL! Watching the owner bring food to the tables was awesome, speaks volumes on how... each guest in treated. We visit from Scottsdale regularly and our favorite Italian restaurant in Newport is Modo Mio. The location is awesome and we... love to sit outside under a heat lamp. It could not be more perfect. The food is so delicious and the staff wonderful. Myhusbands go to is the Chicken Parm and it did not disappoint. It is a huge portion and every nite is delectable. I so love theseafood pasta, but this time I deviated with the Tagliatelle bolognese. Their bolognese is the absolute best. It is fresh andmeaty without a lot of noise. Some places add too much, but not Modo Mio…they keep it to its pure essence. We love the CesarSalad and the complimentary mushrooms that are flavored perfectly seasoned with lemon and olive oil. We cannot forget tomention the awesome Gelato. Marisa, the host, is always gracious and gets us a wonderful table and takes great care of us. Brett and his family do such a fantastic job making a great product, providing great service and providing an overall fantasticexperience. They are awesome!
