My two sons and I ate there this evening. At the cash register, we had to order one of the sandwiches 4 times. Turkey, bacon,... lettuce, pickle, medium, on wheat bread. The lady couldn?t seem to understand the order. The receipt says we paid at 7:09 PM. The food was ready 34 minutes later. The dining room was never more than half full. Don?t you know??The sandwich we had toorder 4 times?.yup, it was wrong. Had to order it a 5th time. The people sitting next to us were in the dining room before wewere. Their order was never prepared. They had to go to the manager, who couldn?t find the order. So, she said she would ?makeit personally?. Exact same thing she told me. I?m assuming she has to do this often. There is no effort or pride in therestaurant. After ordering, I had to get napkins to clean off a table for us to sit. The floor is also filthy. If the diningroom is this dirty, can you imagine how bad the food prep area is? I have included photos of table tops and dining room floor. Read more
While many places were either closed or experiencing other challenges with power after the storm, Firehouse Subs was open for... business. They were quite busy (15 - 20 mins per order) but it did not affect the quality of their food or service. Peoplewilling to wait got great subs and positive attitudes. Top notch experience at this Firehouse Subs location. Staff was friendly, greeting us upon entering business. Interior was... clean and staff was out to wipe down a table quickly after a party left. Our order was promptly prepared just as we had orderedand was delicious. I always like to give a restaurant extra props when they have a Coca-Cola Freestyle machine from which youget your beverage of choice just the way you like it and they appear to be standard equipment at all the Firehouse Subs thatI've visited. If you find yourself in the area, you can't go wrong with Firehouse Subs and this location did not disappoint onour visit. We will return. Read more
I normally love going to Firehouse to get food, but today was enough to deter me from going back. We ordered 1 large and 1... medium sub after waiting at the 'Order Here' spot for several minutes before we were even acknowledged. After that, it took 30minutes to receive our food. There were 5+ employees "working" but no one was talking to each other or the customers and wereeven back-talking the management. No one seemed to know how to make a sandwich. The team does welcome you in... However, they are just going through the motions... They do not even turn around, they just tick... off the box that says " there, i did my job" and it shows. The shift leader on duty didn't even bother to put a brush throughher hair before coming to work looking a mess. Thank goodness the food is good cause the minute the quality goes down...
