Delicious food, highly recommend. I am vegetarian so cannot speak to the meat dishes my family had, but safe to say that every... savory dish that came out of the kitchen was so tasty. Highlights were the whole wheat spaghetti and the swordfish but wouldhappily eat any of those dishes again. Dessert was okay but not the star. The olive oil cake was a bit dry - odd for an oilcake. The chocolate bread pudding was very good. Decaf coffee not good but decaf rarely ever is. I loved the atmosphere anddecor of the restaurant and that you can see the kitchen which is the focal point of the front. Service was okay. The restaurantwas busy, with many people outside on a chilly night to experience this food. Not the cheapest dishes but thought everything wasreasonably priced and decent portions for tapas style. I made a reservation here after getting a recommendation from a friend and cannot recommend it enough. Small plates/tapas that... are extremely well done. Everything I tried was amazing. I went with one other person and we shared: asparagus, leeks, trout, beef tongue, hanger steak, and potato rosti. I didn't get pictures of dessert, but we got rhubarb trifle and pineapplepavlova. The service was great and the place of plates coming out worked really well. I highly recommend this spot if you arelooking for an eventful dining experience. Read more

3.5 stars rounded down to 3. I'm glad I went but not sure if the price/value is worth returning (food bill was $94 for 2/no... drinks), esp since we had to drive 30 minutes. We sat at the kitchen bar and had front row view to the staff cooking which wasinteresting. Steak tartare (small portion but also very small price $6, steak was good, potato crisps not crisp/could have donewithout, left us wanting more so we ordered a second one) Potato rosti w/mild clam dip (satisfying for $5) Pastrami cured trout($12, decent size portion for 2) Squid & artichoke a la pancha (above avg) Cocao pappardelle/venison ragu (good but not so notworth $16) Hanger steak (pretty good but small portion for $19) Pavlova (excellent) Service was pretty good even though theyseemed short staffed (but we sat next to kitchen exit so staff had to walk right by us). Impromptu date night. We were just taking a walk and this spot caught our attention. It was a beautiful night for outdoor... dining. We went around 730pm, no reservations, waited 15 mins for a table. They close at 9pm but did not make us feel rushed atall. Small menu and tapas style. We got the chicken liver pate, clams, potatoe with Clam dip (reminds me of French onion dipwith minced clam meat), and lamb meatballs. Everything we ordered were delicious and we will be back soon!
