I heard so many good things about this place, but I was so disappointed. Went in for lunch, hostess didn't want to give us a... booth because it was too inconvenient for her, although there were plenty of booths open. They got my friend's order wrong andinstead of candied walnuts on my Salad, I got the bottom of the bag smashed walnut bits with all the sugar poured on my salad. It was quite disgusting. Read more
Jake's is a typical hometown eatery. Nothing fancy, just good, honest, delicious food served with care and attention. Good... prices and good choices. One of my favorites! Read more
Usually eat at the Jake?s in Richboro. Server didn?t really seem to care that we were there. Did do the minimum job. I had to go... get napkins and a carry out box. I imagine her fingers can fly on a cell phone but her longest sentence was five words. Food wasfine. Read more
The food and prices are good. The service from the staff do an excellent job with their customers. I have been there several... times and each waiter/waitresses have been excellent. Very friendly atmosphere. What I am disappointed in is that I wasn?t evenout the door and came back in less then five minutes later due to leaving my container of my leftovers on our table. That fastit was gone. I asked one of the bus boys if he put my container to the side that I just left. He said no because when they?rebusy, he just throws them in the trash. The problem is, at this time, no one was waiting to be seated and there were emptytables. So, his answer wasn?t true about being busy at that time. That wasn?t an acceptable answer, and he knew I wasn?t happy,but it didn?t bother him. The bus boy needs to show more responsibility, and show he was to blame.
