Came here for the first time on Aug 2nd. Pretty busy on a weekday. Got seated at the chef table. The chef was doing a good job... having the whole kitchen under control and working very hard but I found it stressful watching him cranking all those plates byhimself since I came here to chill a bit. The rest of the team was hesitant to assist him as he was doing his thing, reallyhard to seamlessly jump in and out to assist him. Calamari could be better, I didn’t like the batter too much. Yesterday my friends and I brought our kids to this great Italian restaurant in Niagara on the lake. The food was great and the... staff were so patient. We had a party of seventeen or eighteen people, half were young children. The servers were sounderstanding with changes, helped recommend different options for our kids, and managed our group so well. My kids enjoyed thespaghetti and meatballs. Been here couple if times we are craving for pizza and pasta when visiting Niagara wineries. We always enjoy the food. A little... expensive. But service is good and it’s cool to see your food being prepped in the open kitchen. Read more
Ambience - Was really good, the music was perfect as well. Food - It just maybe us but was sorely disappointed. We ordered... vegetarian (no meat) dishes. The 'focaccia' bread is basically just sourdough, I've had focaccia'on multiple occasions but justto verify I googled and it was nothing like the image. The tortellini was quite flavorful but it seems that the pasta was notcooked, or maybe it was frozen before resulting in a hardened texture. The Daniella pizza was ok, we've never tried potato in apizza (and so many green veggies), it was different. Also, got the Arancini, was ok as well, just deep fried rice and cheeseballs.
