Would give zero if I could. Nothing had any taste lasagna had no taste I honestly thought it was from a grocery store box.... Chicken had no taste and the lemon sauce for it was atrocious. And the mussels lacked flavor as well. I am never coming back. Read more
We went to Cru for first time in about 5 years. Wife loves cioppino and it is on the menu. I ordered the pasta marinara with... Italian rope sausage. The ambiance and service were excellent. Cioppino was marvelous but the pasta disappointed. It tastedgreat but the pasta used was spaghetti instead of bucatini as on the menu. I asked the server what kind of pasta he had servedme and he said spaghetti because the kitchen ran out of bucatini. If I hadn't asked, nothing would have been mentioned by theserver. After he told me it was spaghetti, he offered to go back to the kitchen and have them prepare me something else. We weretoo far into dinner at that point and my wife would have to have eaten alone or let her food get cold. It all could have beenavoided with the truth at time of ordering. I would expect a server to know if there was something on the menu which wasn'tavailable. Read more

We actually were at a catered wedding here, and the food was excellent. The pre-meal appetizers were especially good. The... servers were quick to pick up dishes, etc., although there were some delays between courses (which in fairness could have beento better accommodate the wedding party). Stopped in at Cru with a party of 7 for dinner. Cru is ostensibly one of the nicer dinner options at the Grandview Lodge, but I... was thoroughly disappointed with both the quality of my meal and the service that was provided. You'll note that on the menu,Cru invites you to "Enjoy your first (bruschetta) on us." At the start of our meal, our server brings a plate of 6 bruschettato our table and leaves. We clearly had seven people at the table. So someone just doesn't eat one. We weren't going to callsomeone over to the table over one piece of bruschetta, but that set the tone for what was a thoroughly forgettable mealexperience. Throughout the meal, the server just kept acting as though they were just going through the motions instead ofresponding to what was actually needed or wanted or was happening at the table. I ordered the Cioppino, which was veryunsatisfying. The meal was not substantial at all. Many of the pieces of fish were served with just the shell and no actualfish inside. A piece of advice to Cru: this dish can be improved by serving it over pasta. At least then customers can eat thepasta and not leave the restaurant hungry. Save yourself some money and skip the meal at Cru, my experience there was verydisappointing and I would not recommend it at all. Read more
