Nice little hidden gem in Nixa. When I eat at a non chain restaurant it is more than just sitting down and eating good food. I... want a nice clean space, a personable server, and some backstory on where we are eating. Jennifer was our server this evening,she was amazing. Knowledgeable of the menu, restaurant heritage, and more than happy to answer all of our questions. Energetic,positive attitude. In a world where most employees are undervalued and underappreciated, Jennifer is a keeper for sure. The foodwas super delicious ???? We got the Judge Special, and a pretzel as the appetizer. Everything was cooked to my liking and I wasimpressed by their corn recipe that is made in house. Turkey was moist, ribs fell off the bone, and the smoked sausage was myhusband's favorite! Sad I forgot to get dessert ???? The only suggestion I have is to provide more lighting outside. When wepulled up at 8pm, we are from STL, it almost looked as though the dining area was closed. The Food that they Caterer to the Wedding on Friday night August 12,2022 was great. When we went to the Restaurant the food... tasted a lot different. You didn't get very many Burnt Ends, the Macaroni & Cheese was mushy. Also the Manager Andrea told us onFriday night to come to the Restaurant on Saturday. Andrea said she would be at work at 3:00pm. We went at 3:20pm and was toldshe just left and that she was Catering a Party. Their Waiter didn't know much at all nor did he tell there was a price increaseon certain side items. Maybe things would"'ve been different had Andrea been there like she said she would. I give 5 stars forthe food we was served at the Wedding. But only 2 stars for the food and service we got at the Restaurant. Read more

Best wings in Nixa! Love everything at Gettin Basted. Big time Bbq championship team sharing their love of barbecue. Quality... of food is always on point, a little pricey but worth it. Even the small things like bringing a glass water carafe for refills. Basted Nachos- Won ton chips with pork, onion straws, cabbage with bbq sauce is a fave. Only thing missing is the sweet aromaof blue bbq smoke tantalizing the senses as you pull in the parking lot like many bbq places I love. Read more
