It was about 620 pm and I was looking for someone to answer a question about the meat sale. Finally I just got in line at the... register and asked the cashier, a young man, who could help me. He turned and said/asked something to a young lady. Shereplied....all I heard was gone today. I was mildly irritated and when he shrugged, turned again to continue scanning thecustomer ahead of me. His blatant and careless attitude BOTH of them was shocking to me. I just put the basket in my hands onthe conveyor belt. "I'm not shopping here." And I asked the lady ahead of me to please excuse me and I walked out. I'm a parttime cashier and I believe in the best customer service I can give and I expect to receive a modicum of the same. Too expensive. I usually only go to buy grapefruits and grapefruit juice as I can't get it at Aldi. Grapefruits had gone up to... $2.29 each.....the sign simply said $2.29.....so I thought it might be per pound.....nope...each.....so for 4 it was over$9....went across street to Aldi and they happened to have a bag of 9 grapefruits for just over $4.....pumpkins at Price Cutterwere $15while Aldi had them for 3......I'm done at PriceCutter....need to change the name!
