First time stopping in for Brunch and I'm so glad I did. It's casual no frills dining with chef inspired homemade dishes.... Everything was absolutely delicious. This place is a real gem. I have traveled all over the US and eaten at many fine restaurants. Rarely do you find a meal this good. The place is not fancy,... it is located in a small retail center near the Goodwill. The meal is prepared by a real master chef, not a teenager with a fewhours of training. We had the Shrimp & Grits plus the Fried Shrimp Plate. She is addicted to the fried shrimp with garlic mashedpotatoes covered in the chefs version of Cajun cream sauce. Chicken and Andouille Sausage really loved it, I ordered the Fried Shrimp Plate and was really impressed as well. My Mom and I had lunch on a Thursday, we were eager to try the fried chicken. One fellow was handling everything in front but he... had it under control. Refilled our drinks often. We knew up front that we would have to wait 20 minutes but oh, was it everworth it! Crispy on the outside, juicy on the inside. Not too salty. Sautéed green beans and garlic mashed potatoes were sodelicious. I got the four-piece dinner and took half home to my husband, who declared it the best fried chicken he had ever had.I think he might be right! I will be back soon to sample more of the menu.
