It really was, for me, one of a kind, just not what I expected in a pleasant way. I do have a liking for Whiting, so this being... my first visit it was easy to home in on a choice to eat. I think next time I will opt for one of the seafood combos. The slightlet down for me in a seafood place was the "french fries" sadly they're oh so American and reminiscent of all the low end fastfood places. I would have loved real potatos chipped and fried. The huge menu was a challenge for a first timer, but it justmeans there is plenty more for me to go at when I return. I returned a week later, and tried the black mussel and shrimp combo.Well of course I am not from the south, I'm not even someone you'd describe as American so to get my lunch in a plastic bag,with a pair of disposable gloves and a bucket for the shells was a bit of a surprise. Eating with my hands is perfectlyacceptable and the dish really was tasty. I did enjoy it, however potatoes corn shrimp and mussels in my opinion require verydifferent cooking times, the result was perfection for the veggies but a little overcooked seafood. I love this place! I’ve been a returning customer since it opened 2018! I’m proud of the people running this place, it is... the best seafood spot in all of norcross! I always get the fried shrimp, its to die for! They have this really amazing lightbrown wooden decor inside, and they provide markers for everyone to write on the wall with. Super original! I love this place. I frequently eat here snd we had a family birthday dinner here recently. Anthony provided excellent service... to our large group. Everything I've gotten has been really flavorful and fresh. I usually get a crab and shrimp boil. Most crabboil seasonings at other places l are too salty for me so I stick to the garlic butter mild sauce and it's perfect! Theflounder and shrimp are delicious as well. We always take friends and family here who have a craving for a seafood boil and they never disappoint! We definitely prefer... this place over the Juicy Crab because service is always better. Even when we come on a Friday or Saturday night the place isnever packed and we never have to wait to be seated. We usually get the Juicy Crawfish Boil combo for "2" (its definitely morethan 2 so definitely worth the money). Its comes with Snow Crab Legs, Shrimp, Crawfish, Clams, Mussels, Corn and potatoes (1 lbfor each item). It comfortably feeds 4 of us so the value and quality is amazing in my opinion. The only advice I have to giveis if you are adding cajun seasoning to your garlic butter, I would personally request lighter seasoning or to get it on theside because their normal amount of seasoning is pretty heavy.
