I had a great experience with Pelon's catering. I highly recommend it. We got Hang Ten, The Dude and The Unemployed Surfer... burritos. We got chips and salsa too. Everyone absolutely loved the burritos. They stayed warm during our whole event and evena few hours afterwards. The owner John is a great guy. He is very passionate about what he does. Flavorless, unseasoned, not marinated , misleading portrayal of Mexican / ethnic food. Hot sauce couldn?t fix it + horrible... management response when partial refund was requested ? wouldn?t even refund untouched /unopened food. Went here for the first time tonight, was excited but quickly faded. To say I wasn't impressed was an understatement. It started... with the person who took our order. We had to keep repeating our order like she couldn't here us or like she was high and wasspaced out. I ordered the big Kahana with chicken with no cilantro and asked for a cup of water. She told me it was on the otherside of the tea when in fact it was in the same canister as the tea, you have to hit the water button. When unwrapping theburrito the outside was wet and had to be pat dry with a napkin. First bite and what do you know cilantro. Took it back and saidI asked for no cilantro (I have that taste bud that cilantro taste like soap and it ruins any food for me). She asked if I wasok with the avocado chunks to which I said yes, but she didn't mention the avacado had cilantro in it, and it was remade andagain, cilantro. At the point I said eff and just tried eating it because I was hungry.The chicken had no flavor and actuallytasted like it was frozen. Nice Mexican style restaurant. The salsa was too wet and messy for my taste and I?d like the chips to be a little warm (they... were cold). Cool place to visit. I came here on the day that the tacos were half priced or some type of deal where it was cheaper. It's a... small establishment and there wasn't a lot of seating so we had to wait until a table became available to seat ourselves. Thestaff was very nice though! So the food was good but could've been a little better. I ordered the fish tacos because I love fishand the shrimp tacos. It was decent though for the price and it filled me up.
