The food is worth the wait if you don't mind going thirsty. We saw the waitress twice. Once to bring a carafe of water the... second to bring beverages and take our order. The man that served the food, cleared the table and brought utensils upon requestwas very friendly. No refills of water or beverages were offered and the waitress never returned to even check on us. Absolutely delightful. You can feel the care in each dish and how proud the staff are to present it. The crispness of their... batter is heavenly. The pork well-seasoned. The tomatoes sweet with a hint of tobacco heat. Even the house salad lettuceswere perfectly fresh and cold. I am thrilled to have discovered this place. My boyfriend and I came here on March 16th (first time for us both), and it was absolutely wonderful! He got the stuffed French... toast, and I got the BBQ brisket benedict. We both really enjoyed what we ordered, although after I let my boyfriend try a biteof my meal, he said he wished he would have ordered what I got, ha ha. I loved all the art on the walls; the place as a whole isreally pretty and cozy. The service was very friendly, as a few different people came to check on us.
