Met friends tonight for dinner on the patio on Oak St. We were the only ones out there =) Service was good. Food was very... good. We had the dinner for 2 $50 You choose one appy (3 large mac balls - we gave one to our friends to share) 4 meats (2xbrisket, pulled pork and fried chicken) 4 sides, tater tots, pork and bean (excellent!!) Potato salad, beans and corn And youget a dessert (brownie was our only choice, and we had it to go) Our meal was delicious, GREAT value.. we brought some home forlunch. The brisket is excellent as are the beans. The fried chicken was great but it was a boneless chick breast with adelicous coating, no bones! I?ve been to quite a few BBQ spots in my time. I was excited to check out this location especially given there?s not much in... terms of BBQ in North Bay. I did really enjoy my meal and the prices were really reasonable. The staff was extremely friendlyand the restaurant was immaculately maintained. My only issue was that the brisket was a little dry and tough, honestly it mayhave just been an off day as I know brisket can be tough to get right consistently. Been here several times now, and had a consistently great experience. Staff is really friendly and welcoming, and the service is... excellent. Food is delicious, and you can pick between some classic BBQ and some creative options on the menu (sandwich menu iskiller). Oh, and despite not being a beer nut, I enjoyed the draft selection! Atmosphere is also a big plus here. Very casual,and there has been live music on weekend evenings.
