I typically don?t post google reviews, especially not ones that would negatively reflect a local business, but since my visit to... The Vine last night was so unfortunate, I feel it?s necessary to put this out there. I brought an out of town guest with me,with a Georgia license, and we were refused service because they claimed we did not have valid ID?s. Not only did the bartenderhave zero understanding of the Pennsylvania ?real ID? system that has recently been implemented, but she had no basis for whyshe was denying our ID?s other than that she was ?trusting her gut?. Now, I am a bartender in two different states, and Iunderstand the seriousness of serving someone underage. This is why I have never attempted to be served or bring another personto be served at a local bar while underage. I offered multiple solutions, such as secondary forms of identification, scanningthe IDs, and using a black light for the hologram that she said didn?t look right. She refused all of this and said because shehad never seen a Georgia ID she didn?t feel comfortable serving us. Overall, her attitude was dismissive and rude. We were therefor an hour waiting for a solution while she ignored us and the ten other guests that were in the bar, offering to buy us ourdrinks. You?d think that bartenders and small businesses would want to make money given how hard that is these days, but shedidn?t even ask us if we still wanted to eat or anything. We were ignored and scoffed at and my aunt who came to pick us up wastold that she was obnoxious for defending us. It?s a little ridiculous that they are chasing away business because their staffis uneducated on IDing practices and they don?t have updated forms of validating IDs at their disposal. I will not be back tothe vine, let alone bringing out of town guests here, as I?m unsure if we will be served. I also have a huge family, many ofwhich have been customers for years, and they will not come back either due to the disrespectful manne Read more

Stopped by because I saw they had good reviews. Got seated right away and things seemed to be going pretty slowly but the... waitress said she should be back in a minute. We waited 15-20 minutes and never saw her again. No drink order, not offered amenu, not acknowledged by staff. Left without ordering. Read more
