Best Auberge ever! We spent 2 nights in a fabulous place, near the beautiful lake Massawippi and it?s mountains. Staff gives... everything to satisfy all our needs. Breakfast and lunch were delicious with many choices. We still plan our next vacations atthe Auberge la Chocolatiere. Read more
The hotel extra charged us because we had a view on the lake, and this without warning us and without our consent. We... unfortunately noticed the extra amount after that we paid, and came back to find a solution at the hotel. The answer wasbasically : "you already paid, it's too late." Seems like a tourist trap, if you book there please ask for the details of thepayment at the check in to avoid the same problem than us. The employee at the front desk was very unfriendly andunprofessional. Read more

If I could give this place 10 stars, I would. It is 100% family owned and operated, and this family goes that extra mile to... ensure their guests are happy. The food in the restaurant/bar is great, service is wonderful and the location and cleanliness ofthe property are impeccable. You get a wonderful breakfast that is included in the cost of the room, and there is local madechocolate and maple syrup in the boutique. We made North Hatley a stop in between Montreal and Quebec, and we are so glad wedid. The area is a utopia. The view from our room is gorgeous.
