We loved eating at this restaurant. The all-you-can-eat part of the buffet includes the salad bar, soup, mussles, coffee/tea, and desserts! Service was REALLY good as well, everything was explained properly, not to mention the staff is friendly and attentive. Their chowder is one of the most special I've had. Overall this restaurant is a bit on the pricier side but the taste and the amazing service makes up for it. We came at 5pm so there was no wait and an abundance of food, but towards 7pm there was definitely a line, so come early! I definitely recommend coming here if you are visiting Prince Edward Island :)
Matty was our server, she not only explained everything thoroughly, but also answer the many questions we had. Great little server. The food here was great the experience was great I loved the unlimited Chowder and mussles. Food was fresh, restaurant was very clean, staff was friendly. Great place, with ample space and seating. View is beautiful. I'd highly recommend and look forward to going again.
Simple but good seafood. Oysters were one of the best we tried on our trip and scallops in a bacon are melting in your mouth. We had a good time. Enjoy!
Super fun experience getting the quintessential Lobster Dinner. Their salad bar has all great options! A fun tourist experience for sure. They crack your lobster before it comes out, which was super handy if you're unsure how to do this!
This was our first time visiting and our first buffet/salad bar experience since before the pandemic. We arrived just before opening time. A nice lady came out to let us know they will be open soon and she spent time letting us know what we can expect. She promised we will leave stuffed. We were the first to be seated and first to hit the salad bar. EVERYTHING was so fresh! We filled our salad plates as we waited for our entries. My wife had the scallops and i had the steak (I don't like fish). Both were excellent. Our servers were really nice and prompt in bringing our food. We noticed all staff treat customers with respect. They all want to make sure our experience is good. BTW, we did leave stuffed! We will be back next time we visit PEI
It was an expensive meal, and there wasn't one portion of it that we really enjoyed, from appetizer to dessert. The service was fine, and there were no major incidents. We just didn't find any of the food good, and definitely not worth the price paid. There were 4 people are our table, and we all left rather disappointed. The only part of the meal that was "fine" were the mussels that my husband had. I would not return. Attending was more about the experience than the food, and I the experience was not enough to make it worth it.
Pros: - The staff is incredibly hospitable and truly cares. - The atmosphere is very homely. - The seafood is very fresh. - The salad/dessert bar is extensive and has a lot of variety. Cons: - The bang for your buck - it does feel a tad touristy and pricey for the meal you're getting. - The wait times - due to the pandemic, you have to wait a bit until the server comes by (not blaming them, they have a lot of tables to wait on).
World Famous Fisherman's Wharf was simply the best. Unfortunately PEI Snow Crab was N/A (very hot!!) but proven truly FRESH!! Lobster, Breaded scallops, mussels, seafood chowder (so tasty!), salad bar and desert was all memorable and delicious across the board. Staff was sensational. Friendly. Helpful. Kid friendly. All observed public safety protocols. Clean location. Lots of parking. Open at 3 pm (due to freshness, again...sorry not sorry) looking forward to returning soon!
