Great sushi & ramen! Not very busy the times I have been.
I have been enjoying sushi for the better part of 25 years and Yohachi did not disappoint. In fact, it was the BEST sushi my... girlfriend and I have ever had! The service was great too. We sat on the cute patio on a hot summer day and had lunch. I wouldhighly recommend eating here! Read more
After attending several restaurants in Canada, between Calgary and Vancouver, we we?re so surprised with this Japanese... restaurant. At the water everything was crowded and here it was very quite. We went in and we?re greeted very friendly and foundout there were a lot of vegetarian options. We got water immediately and started with a spinach-salad that was very tasteful. Ihad the bento box with chicken and Kara-age and my wife had the Vegi-sushi-combo. Both were delicious. Everything was full offlavor and the plates looked very pretty. Our waiter made sure we had everything we needed. By the end of it our stomachs werefull and we only had to pay $60,-. Haven?t seen this service and this level of food for that amount of money in Canada yet. Ohthe interior looks amazing too and they had the Japanese version of ?Country Roads? playing. Located close to Lonsdale Quay, offeing good variety of yummy sushi rolls and sashimi. The downside was that their classic rolls... was not very good but the special ones were great. Our favourite one was Angry Jalapeño roll. Try their Salomon sashimi nachosas well as their sushi pizza. The pizza is a very interesting concept as they use 4 deep fried California rolls as pizza doughwith Salomon and tuna as toppings. Read more
