I visit Wildwood every year and this is, hands down, one of the best places to get food down there! Everything we tried was... amazing. The rich flavor of the Aussie sausage was incredible and the snap of the sausage casing was to die for. The seasoningrub on the ribs was also a huge standout. The brisket was incredibly tender and flavorful?I really loved that the burnt ends wasa menu item! We learned about Wildwoods BBQ from a YouTube video and visiting in person did not disappoint. The effort they putinto their food deserves an award. Highly recommend this place! It?s got a cute interior, too. Read more

Has great potential, but definitely cut some corners. Mac and cheese was excellent. Brisket was well seasoned and just smokey... enough but very dry. A huge loss is that they use Sweet Baby Ray's as their BBQ sauce, no self respecting BBQ restaurant shoulduse store brand BBQ and it's far too heavy for the meats. Pulled pork sandwich was soggy but decently flavored. Food was fairlypriced for BBQ. They do have indoor seating but it was very hot and stagnant. Outside picnic tables are also available. Drinksare bottled water or sodas but are fairly priced. Read more

Heard about this place from the eater vid, and when I found myself in wildwood, I had to go! We got a 1/2 lb brisket and a pint... of pickles to go, and oh my gosh it was mind-meltingly delicious (LOOK at that smoke ring!). Also, get the cauliflower! Read more

After trying everything on the menu over the course of a couple visits, I can confidently say that everything here is... exceptional. I would understand if you assumed the veggies/salad at a BBQ joint wouldn't be a highlight but you'd be wrong inthis case. The Caesar salad and fried Cauliflower are must have sides. Also, they have some of the best sausage and chicken I'veever had a BBQ place. Oh, and I have to mention the burger: the chefs have created an "elevated" quarter pounder that had mewanting a second one immediately. So, obviously, go very hungry. Read more

Called ahead and was advised that they were almost out of brisket so my Hispanic family of six quickly drove down to this... restaurant with high hopes based on the ratings. We were hesitant to enter the restaurant that was filled with picnic tables andrandom writings on the walls. It was reminiscent of an abandoned Back alley circa 1967. We proceeded to make our selections aswe were told the brisket was out. We were asked to step aside as they updated the handwritten menu posted on the wall. Theyutilized butcher paper and painters tape to hide the brisket selections. I then watched two gentlemen make a sandwich together.Seriously, one added the meat and the other squirted on the barbecue sauce. We were ignored for about 10-15 minutes while othercustomers were warmly greeted and served upon entry. I would love to comment on the food, but we took our business to a highercaliber location that actually wanted our business. Read more
