I?ll give 0 ?if I could! Last year & early this year I came to this store for the chicken pot twice, it was generally good... except a little bit salty. So I came with my bestie today again. The first thing to notice is that the waiter gave terribleservice and bad attitude, he didn?t even gave us water until we ask. Then their food preparation was insufficient, two dishes wewanted to order were out of stock, and that?s just 6pm, the beginning time for dinner. Thirdly, the dishes were toooooo salty,we severely need some sweet milk tea to balance after having the food. The WORST thing is, this store DOUBLE TIP customers! Wedidn?t notice this in the store, and paid tips on top of the amount showed on the bill. But when I saw some review of the doubletip issue I recalculate the price, so our original price is 51.5, 51.5 * 1.13 * 1.15 = 66.92 is the price shown on the bill, wepaid 15% (the lowest choice) on top of this amount, which means that we paid 32.2% tips! How dare you!!! I admitted that it?sours fault that didn?t read the bill carefully, but with this type of behaviour I?ll NEVER EVER come back or recommend thisrestaurant to anybody else. Read more

Very good hybrid dim sum restaurant

Overall experience was alright, the food was pretty good, but the price is a little too high for the quality. You can go to any... Chinese restaurant within Markham or Scarborough with similar quality for way lower price and bigger portions. I am not a heavyperson on seasoning and prefer something lighter, so their dishes were perfect for me. But as for my friends who ate with methey had to add extra salt, especially the 2 potted rice in the picture. Despite the one with very dark sauce, it offered verylittle taste. The BBQ pork was slightly burnt in some spots, the sauce on it was very well made, slightly sweet but not overpowered by other tastes. Just the right about of saltiness for me. The only one that had a lot of flavor was the chicken on theblack pot in the picture. Its a little spicy but heavy with flavor. The chicken inside basically is all bones and there isalmost no meat to he found. So unless you like eating ginger and leek, this is not worth it at all. Chinese name of it is?????. The black buns were more bun than filling. If you want the filling you can get it way cheaper at a dim sum restaurantwith more filling and better textured bun. As for staff and the restaurant, there's a weird smell when you enter, kind of likea sour smell you when your laundry is wet and you fold it. We found out why, it's from the cloth they wipe the tables with.They're reused and never washed we're speculating. So all the tables smell like that too. The staff doesn't look like they wantto work there, but have a polite voice when you talk to them. So I don't know, typical Chinese restaurant I guess. This is nota place I would recommend because nothing's really special. Everything is pricy for mediocre food. If you want to try, sure. Butyou won't find anything special in terms of the food. I really liked their Siu Mai with chicken instead of pork, spot prawn, scallop, and topped with truffle. The deep fried durian... cake was also quite delish. Unfortunately.. the reason I came here was for the charcoal salty egg yolk bun which was seriouslylacking on the filling. Besides that everything tasted pretty good and fresh. Pricing could be a little better though. Iprobably wouldn?t come back... there?s a lot of bang for your buck joints that taste just as good (if not better). Read more
