It was my very first time at Heart Sushi. I loved it! Everything from the service to the food was impeccable. They have an all... you can eat buffet and a la carte. Our server was fantastic, so warm and friendly. The sushi is fresh and made to order. Theyuse iPads, so your order comes in very quickly. The only drawback(s) is they only accept cash or Visa. The owner/manager doesntpermit you to tip the server despite the great service. NOT COOL! Shame on them! I feel they take advantage of the servers. Iwas going to give 5 stars but reduced it to 2. Editing my review after visiting a few more times. I initially gave them 4/5 stars, but this place has really grown on me!... They've vastly improved their organization, and we haven't had any issues not receiving items since. Sashimi is wonderful, staffare wonderful, and the atmosphere is perfect. The food is great! We had a reservation for 3, as it was my brother in law's birthday. When we were seated, my brother in law... asked for a booth. The hostess asked the manager who said something in another dialect. Then after 5 mins of us waiting aroundto see where we are actually sitting, we were sat at tables. Which we combined ourselves. No problem... guess that is whatreservations are for. The food was great, things came quickly. When it came time to pay bill, manager came and we asked forBirthday discount as advertised on website. He stated discount is given, only if you pay cash. Hmmm... interesting. What was awonderful evening... with interactions from the management team, the night turned sour. I came here with my girlfriend during lunch for their all you can eat. The decor and atmosphere of the restaurant are great -... very well done. The servers were nice enough. Food is ordered via an iPad, which is something I personally enjoy. The taste ofthe food is my biggest complaint because, it's simply not that great. It's not terrible however, comparing it to other AYCErestaurants I've dined at in Toronto, I would place heart sushi at the bottom of my list. Read more

Came there because the price was not bad. The food I ordered was very good, and service was quick too. After looking at the manu... though, I realized that it does not have squid, or other more exotic things. Mostly chicken and fish items, and high ratio ofrice to fish.
