Great food and amazing service. Their meat is also halal if that is a concern for you. They have a spacious patio. You can book... this place for parties and events. Great service! Empanadas were great to start. Baja fish tacos had a nice crispy coating on the fish.. Drool. I could eat 5 of... them easily! Chimichangas were also a standout. Loved that it didn't feel too soggy from the sauce over top. The meat andtortillas still had a crisp and body that held together. Churros were good but I did not love the cream and cookie (overcookedand dry) or chocolate drizzle. I would have enjoyed cinnamon sugar and a scoop of vanilla ice cream. What a great experience visiting this family owned hidden gem! The owner was incredibly kind, and the food was really good!! I... let her know that I was vegan and she made sure to accommodate with no sour cream or cheese (guacamole was included). It was alittle pricey at $20 but the portions were decent and I was able to have a little bit for leftovers. Go support this local anddelicious Mexican restaurant! Read more
AWESOME vegan options... and they're so friendly! My only gripe would be sometimes they include dairy cheese shreds in their... beans but you can tell it's in good spirit and not intentional. My favourite entree is their soy curl fajitas. The flavours arejust simply incredible! In search for a centrally located Mexican restaurant to meet with friends, landed on this. Food and service was good. Ambience,... not so much. Restaurant had a musky smell as soon as we entered. Wanted to leave, but ended up staying as did not want to spendtime searching for a new place. Smell is like AC and refrigeration unit running and then when u turn off and dont open doors.Basic decor, but the lady who showed menu was very cordial, so stayed. Food was freshly prepared and tasty. Would have liked alittle more Guac on the Chimichangas. Dont remember seeing it. Toronto in general lacks good Mexican restaurants, outside ofdowntown core. Decore is usually overdone with ceramic designs. Read more
