I enjoyed the oxtail and rice and peas. The gravy, meat texture and taste were on point. It has the authentic Jamaican taste.... The service was great as well. Looking forward to trying the other dishes on the menu, hopefully they are just as great. Read more

I ordered the Jerk Chicken... at first I was confused. I had to wait 15 minutes, usually at other Jamaican spots you only wait 3... mins max. HOWEVER after receiving my meal I understand the wait! You can't rush quality!! This Jerk must have come right fromthe grill... it was hot and smokey but not too spicy I love it. I'll wait an hour if they tell me, believe me it is worth thewait time. ScottHill is one of my favourite restaurants in all of the GTA, let alone my favourite spot for Caribbean food. Consistently... delicious and authentic food with large portion sizes at a very reasonable price. Our favourites are the jerk chicken, ox tail, and curry goat. Read more

I have a lot of high hopes for this place. I just want to start off by saying this place is great in terms of atmosphere, vibes... and spirit. You can tell that it’s a real authentic Jamaican restaurant from the moment you walk in. The front waitress was sopolite and helpful and even though she was busy multitasking 100 different things she was very patient and friendly to everyonethat came in. The way my tummy was rumbling from the smell of the food, I was so excited to try it. Seeing the plates of theother diners confirmed I was in the right spot. The portion sizes were huge and very reasonable pricing. Everything on the menusounded so delicious and it was very hard to pick what to order, but I decided to play it cool and just get the bbq friedchicken. (strike one on my part). I should’ve just stuck with the gut. The bbq sauce was like a really liquidized ketchup. Itwas so runny and bright red, that it soaked through the fried coating on the chicken. I wanted to like it so bad, but it wasjust not what I was used to. My friend got the skewers and the dumplings were so tuff and hard to choose. I’m honestlythinking that this was just a one off and I can’t wait to come back and try their dine in food instead of take out. Read more
