You can't get any better than City Cafe. The atmosphere is wonderful. The staff is absolutely remarkable and makes hundreds of... people feel so welcome. And the food is scrumptious. Where can you get warm homemade cobbler? The whole meal cost less than$10. City Cafe is the most charming Cafe I have ever discovered. Read more

This place is exactly what you expect from a diner! Our grandson-in-law suggested this place. He loves it. It's in the Northport... downtown area (close to Tuscaloosa), and it's busy busy busy. Lots of local memorabilia on the walls.There may be a wait, buttables open up quickly.The servers are so friendly. It's a local place where regulars come for a hot, quick meal, but strangersare welcomed. You can get almost anything you can think of for breakfast. Lunch is a "meat and 3". Breakfast was excellent. Whatwe saw people ordering for lunch looked good. Looking forward to returning when we're in the area. Read more
