Call this 3.5 stars. We have been coming to Northport a few times a year for over a decade. Boy howdy are things changing fast! Never thought we would have to say goodbye to the old Garage. It had always been a reliable spot for affordable lunch and dinner, and it felt like an Up North bar and grill should feel: comfortable, relaxed, and a little bit sticky. The food at the new Garage is AWESOME, don?t get me wrong. Legit good BBQ (and we know good BBQ - my husband is a KC native). But it?s pricey and the selection is limited. The music was WAY to loud (grumble grumble, I know) and the decor is weirdly upscale and bland for a BBQ joint. It just doesn?t make sense. Drinks were great, service was great, so maybe I?m just a curmudgeon and miss the old vibes. My recommendation? Grab some takeout and carry it over to the marina park with a six pack. That?ll feel like the Northport we know and love.

Mac and cheese was mediocre, bit soggy. The brisket and pulled pork as well as sauces were wonderful. Kind of expensive though.

Awesome place! Great local brews on tap. Couldn?t have wanted to end my day in any other way!

Great place to warm up on a cold winter day with tasty food and good selection of beer! The pork nachos were super tasty and so was the ham and Swiss on rye. Fair prices for food and drink and the staff were kind and funny.

Fun and busy little restaurant with good food. Prizes were reasonable for a tourist town. Indoor and outdoor dining but the indoor is basically covered outdoor with bay door open. Bathroom was super clean. Pulled pork sandwich was delicious. Be prepared to wait if they are busy.

Good food. Charles was really cordial and funny, he told us, if something goes wrong with his service, we can call him Patrick (I think is the name of the guy at the bar/other owner) really nice guys. Before I forget, they welcome pets too. Nice family place to visit.

Can't wait to go back! We we're starving, looking for lunch and decided to try Garage Bar & Grill. Great funky little place in Northport!! We sat at a picnic table outside (covered by umbrellas) and enjoyed a beautiful day/lunch. Our waitress was super friendly and their menu makes it hard to decide! So many delicious options to choose from and house made everything ?. We will definitely be back to try more!
