Ever since the restaurant changed hands about a year ago (I think?), this place has gone downhill. Inedible food. The owner also... just told me they serve a day old pizza to customers. Is a shame because we used to love the old intermezzo and the old owners.Instead of here, we go to Ginos just down the road, always fresh, always delicious and great service. Read more

We frequent intermezzo every Friday night while my daughter takes voice lessons next-door. The food is always exceptional. There... is always a wide variety of pizza slices. They are pasta is always cooked to perfection. If you’re lucky enough to meet one ofthe owners you’ll feel like you’re talking to your Italian grandmother during Sunday meal. This past Friday was exceptionalthat upon receiving our takeout order when we arrive home we realize that there were some items missing. Before I had a chanceto even pick up the phone All missing items were delivered to my door along with a gift card for the same amount that we hadspent. I’m so impressed by the customer service and the kindness of the honor for this gesture. Intermezzo did an AMAZING job hosting our sons small first communion party yesterday. We worked with Joe who put together an... amazing menu for the event. And Lizzie was our main point of contact for service. Everything was delicious. Due to theresurging pandemic, our party was much, much smaller than originally anticipated, but Intermezzo was very accommodating andstill took incredible care of us. The food was just spectacular. The entire party raved about their meals from appetizer allthe way to coffee and dessert. I cannot speak highly enough of the food and service from everyone at Intermezzo. Thank you somuch! Read more

Since new owners took over this restaurant has gone down hill. We had a horrible experience when they first opened, gave them a... second chance a few weeks later and food was inedible. Decided to try a 3rd time last night. The place was packed which shouldbe a good sign. It wasn’t for us. We sat at the bar, and the bartender was awesome and attentive despite the fact that she wasstretched thin. We had excellent cocktails and a mediocre fried calamari app. We then ordered a pizza to share. We heard themanager at one point question whether a pizza was take out or dine in. No one knew. After waiting a half hour with no pizza, weasked the manager where our pizza was. He asked if we’d ordered a “serpico”, which we did, and he quickly brought out ournow cold pizza which had been sitting in the kitchen. We tried to eat it, but why bother, it was cold. The manager then told ushe was going to cover our entire check. He took it from us, and then returned it to us with the pizza deducted. He offered tocover it, we didn’t ask, and then he didn’t. The bartender who seemed to be the only person who really knew what was goingon, handed us a gift card and asked us to please come back, was wonderful.
