One big time advise if you want to dine here - don't sit outside!!!!! Everything started ok with decent margarita and small... plates until 4-5 bees hover around the food. One bee was even drawn in the drink. The manager was ok to change the margarita.When we asked him to change the small plates due to food safety concern, he started to have attitude. He brought back a bowlback and claimed it's freshly made calamari but it was obvious the portion is smaller than a regular plate. They just changedfrom the original plate to a bowl. We didn't touch the calamari anymore. We also noticed when we sat down inside and told themanager the bees also stung the wings, the bartender behind the bars looked at us and kept shaking her head. When I looked ather, she was afraid to make eye contact. Later, when our entree came, Thick Chick sandwich, we found the bun is not fresh. Youcan easily smell it being stale. Given the negative vibe from the manger and the bartender, we didn't even bother tocomplain. The waitress served us is nice and apologized for our unpleasant experience. The manager never approached to us againafter the bee incident to show any sincere concern or hospitality. Both my friend and I believe we were being treated in thisway because we are the only minority customers there. So if you are colored, better stay away! Read more
First customer service was very nice. My wife's Tuna Poke bowl was meet expectations; my mixed drink was well made. My issue was... that I ordered the "Waffle Stack," and out came one waffle. Now I joked with some friends, and I would think you need a minimumof two waffles to be a stack. You need a waffle on top of another waffle to qualify as a stack. One small waffle for $9. Read more
We enjoyed happy hour here so much we came back the next day! Cocktails expertly crafted ($10 at happy hour), food is fresh and... delicious. The Ahi tuna nachos are the best we?ve had anywhere. Plenty of fresh ahi tuna, mango salsa with a delicious sauce. Ihad the Hones grain bowl- excellent- and my husband had the tempura shrimp tacos (you get 1 free at happy hour). We enjoyed itall. I've been to this restaurant several times and it never disappoints. The food is good, the drinks are excellent, and the... atmosphere is wonderful! Our servers and bartenders have always been friendly and helpful. Compared to other restaurants in thearea, this one is absolutely my number 1 favorite. My favorite things are the lawbsta fries, the truffle fries, the tunanachos, the honest bowl, and the caesar salad (which is heartier than traditionally caesar salads. I get it with salmon on top -SO GOOD!!!). I've also been here for taco night with friends, which is always a good time and their tacos are delish. All oftheir cocktails are perfection but the peachfront mule is one of the best drinks I've had anywhere! Read more
