Yes, it is a dark bar/pub atmosphere, and yes, they are typically understaffed for the number of people that are in there, but... there is a reason for the number of people in there, and that is because the food is so good. I've been trying out all thelocal food joints in the area, and Cooper Hill (for pizza and a french fry melt) and Tough Tymes (for everything else) aredefinitely the best places around. Read more

We've been here a few times. The food is consistent and decent especially when the price is taken into consideration. The bar... staff are friendly and personable. Also, my favorite beer is on tap, Shiner Bock - by Spotzel Brewery(TX) I don't come across itup here much. Be sure to check out cruise night on Wednesdays during warm weather. We'll be back. Read more
