Opened by Michele 16 years ago, this is the best place to shop for pies. We picked up a large apple crumb, small blueberry pie... and two individual chicken pot pies recently. Michele?s son was at the counter and as always we commented on how fabulous theyare. Thank you for making our family gathering a great success with your delicious crumb. I was unaware of this adorable spot until today when I stumbled upon it from another location. The staff was friendly, the pies... are phenomenal (I can?t even describe how perfect the crust is!!!), and the baked goods are fantastic. You will be delighted youstopped in! First let me say I don't write reviews, full time job, 2 kids and one on the way prevents me from doing much these days;)... However after having one of Michele's Pies I had too ! They are by far the best pie I have ever tried. I bought a chocolatecream and a sweet potato pie for thanksgiving and they were both amazing, they were so good I have been back twice since lastweek. I go to Michele's Pies way more than I should. Every visit I am always treated very well by the entire staff, the lovely girls... behind the counter are very well educated on the products and to my delight always remember my favorite things! This pastholiday I ordered a cookie tray and a variety of pies for a party I was going to, everyone should do this whenever they receivean invitation - I was the highlight of the party!!! I pre-ordered and when I arrived for pick up, the cookie tray wasmagnificent! Beautifully decorated cookies that taste delicious - what more can you ask for? Michele's Pies are always fresh,in-season, and crowd pleasers. It starts with the aroma when you open the box and ends with a clean plate! Do not miss theChocolate Pecan - it is indescribably, mouth-wateringly scrumptious! I always enjoy coming into the store and visiting yourbooth at the New Canaan Farmers Market!
