First time at this restaurant. Clean, cozy, near the water. Food was delicious. Didn't give 5 stars because one of the waiters... was very rude, disrespectful, maybe he was having a bad day, but that shouldn't be an excuse to be rude. Great chowder and steamers! The regular coffee was three or four times too strong. The cappuccino was perfect though.
Beautiful location and views with nice menu selection. Clam chowder had a creamy consistency and a smoky flavor from the bacon.... A little different than traditional clam chowder but very good. Crab cake appetizer was delicious, had lumps of crab in it andsauce was great. Cabbage slaw was okay. Fish and chips were smaller pieces which provided more batter to fish ratio. Batter wasjust a tad greasy but really nitpicking. Overall a great dish. Swordfish was very good. Plantain mash was the only item I didnot like. Lacked flavor and seasoning. Can't say enough about the food, the drinks the service and the atmosphere. The entire experience was A+. From the oysters and... Tuna to the Fish Special and linguini with Clam Sauce, all fresh and delicious. Creative drink menu and lovely heated outsidearea added to the lovely evening.
