Food was delivered at the Estimated delivery time. Everything tasted very good.
We are visiting from STL and this is our first time at Potbelly! The young lady and young man making the sandwiches were nice... but there was a misunderstanding about our order. We requested kids meals and they made ?originals?. When we got to the registerthe manager basically accused us of lying about what we requested. I asked her to remake the sandwiches in the correct size forus because we were not paying for the larger sandwiches when we didn?t request it. She was very rude and condescending. Sheended up charging us for the kids meals but messed up the ?pick your pair? meal by charging me separately for the items. Iwon?t be coming back just based on that experience. It?s not my or my family?s fault that the staff messed the order up. I wasnot rude and I am not a liar but was surely made to feel like one and the lady was loud with her remarks. 1st time visit to a Potbelly Sandwich shop, unfortunately would not return to this Oakbrook Center local simply due to the... really poor customer interaction. We felt like we were an inconvenience to the staff. No smiles, no assistance with ordering, just rote questions asked super fast. Sandwich was ok. Bread is pure baked and taken from a sealed plastic bag. Salad was veryfresh and nicely sized. Read more
