Poor service with poor excuses and watching the staff run around was chaotic the managers were looking very confused,Like no one... knew what was going on at anytime. We had a party of eight and it took 1.5 hrs to get out our food. Two people in the partyordered bud lights received angry orchard cider beer when the waitress came back she said and I quote ?manager stuck a straw inyour beer and tasted it so it?s right this time ?. None of the checks were correct. I could understand if they were busy butthey were not busy at all. It?s a shame that it is such a beautiful establishment. But no where near worth the money consideringthe service. Read more
Great atmosphere! Had the best server, who went above and beyond to make my dad's birthday dinner wonderful. Her name was Kitty,... she was great!. The rolls were amazing and a cooked in house! We had dinner last night and Mother's Day brunch this morning. The food was delicious, the portions huge, the service amazing... and the cost very reasonable. The Manager, Carlos Dee went out of his way to see that we were comfortable and satisfied with theservice and our meals. My husband and I have dined at several Steakhouses such as Morton's, Capitol Grill and Abe and Louie's tomention a few. The food and service we received at Garrison Oak Steakhouse surpassed them all. My 13 year old son and I visited last night. Our server, Izzy, was very nice and attentive. We both got a Caesar salad as a... starter, the dressing had a great taste and homemade croutons were good as well. I ordered a 16oz prime rib medium. It wasdelicious, hot and actually cooked to a perfect medium. A lot of restaurants fall short on that accomplishment. The mashedpotatoes tasted like the powdered instant ones, not good at all, nor were the "chefs vegetables" which consisted of green andwhite asparagus. Steamed broccoli would be better in my opinion or even baby carrots. Rolls were like cardboard and flavorless.My son had the chocolate cake for dessert and I had strawberry cheesecake. Both were enjoyable. Carlos, the host was very niceas well. I feel like he checked on us as much as our server did. My son told him that the macaroni was literally the bestmacaroni he's ever eaten (it was really good) and Carlos went and got the chef so my son could share that compliment. We all gota kick out of that. All the staff was very welcoming. Atmosphere was nice. My only suggestion for improvements would be get somereal homemade potatoes and some better rolls and veggies.
