This place used to be a great spot to grab delicious food. Lately there is a lot to be desired. Orange Lettuce? Come on would... you eat it? Tonight's the kicker. I ordered another salad added one extra dressing and paid for five croutons since they onlygive you one. Well we got none. Absolutely terrible. only good thing pizza arrived on time. I have had lou malnati's pizza before years ago downtown and it was... awesome. I use to brag about it being the best. What I got saturday night was garbage 70$ for 2 pizzas that I was embarrassed toserve to my family for my wife's birthday. The thin crust was rock hard barely could eat the cheese off of it what pieces youcould eat were dripping with grease. The deep dish was edible but not good. No dine in, only carry-out location. Lou Malnati's just makes great pizza. People think it's the deep-dish, but their thin-crust... is DELICIOUS. Get the butter crust and you will be addicted. Their crusts are less doughy and more crispy, and the sauce isrich, but doesn't overtake. Read more
I tried the deep dish (of course) with pepperoni. They stacked the pepperoni & put tons of cheese on it. It was delicious! The... salad dressing on the family salad was amazing. I didn't know if I'd like it, but I couldn't get enough. My friend bought 2bottles of dressing for her salads at home. They also give you crunchy salami pieces to put on it, they hit the spot. I'm pretty picky about my pizza but I'll order from here again and again. I did discover that for the first time ever adding... extra toppings did not necessarily improve the pie. It just made the inside of my deep dish slide more during transit and madeit trickier to slice. Will still get extra garlic but stay with standard amount of cheese and sausage! Read more
