Absolute excellence! The menu is well-priced and the food is top-tier. Our waitress was very nice and the flavor combinations... were well thought out and balanced (sweet grilled pineapple, smooth avocado, spicy and tangy hibiscus flower all on a homemadetortilla!) Dropped in to order tacos on a quiet Saturday afternoon (there was only one group of 3 people dining inside at the time). We... ordered 6 tacos and to my surprise they came out extremely fast. Although the service was fast, the food came out ice cold. Inotified our waiter who assured us that he would speak with a manager about it. After waiting to hear back from the waiter, hesimply returned and asked if we were ready for the bill. Stopped in unexpectedly during a tornado warning and storm. So happy we did! Yummy tacos, quick and friendly service. Good... drinks, the Hecho Margaritas were just what we needed. First time at Hecho en Oak Park and stooped in for their highly recommended margaritas... Space feels like a small cantina with... a handful of tables and bar area. Margaritas are priced accordingly with four flavors to choose from as well as two specialtymargaritas. We ordered strawberry and pineapple, cucumber and a mezcalucha. They are tasty and refreshing. Mezcalucha smokey andstrong. Caught a Mexican flan (Natilla) for dessert, definitely for the sweet tooth in all. Place was good, seemed a bit shortstaffed in a Monday. Read more

We have had two great ?to go? experiences here. We attended a birthday party that was catered by Hecho and it was so delicious... we ordered tonight. The portions of their tacos are huge. Mostly, we appreciated Leslie who was the bartender upon pick up. Wecam early and hurried to get the order ready. I had ordered a mezcal margarita drink to go. When we got home, Leslie took thetime to call us and say that she had accidentally added tequila instead of mezcal. Very thoughtful service, and the drink wasstill fabulous!
