My mom was raving about this place and couldn't wait to take me. So we finally made it today and the I was not impressed. ... Beautiful and clean establishment but the service that was a huge turn off. I asked the waiter if the mango juice was actuallyfresh pressed and he told me yes. I saw him pour my "fresh juice" from a container. We had to go to the counter for boxes andour bill. (We were the only one's dining in) When my mom went to cash out, she thought he was talking to her but no, he was onhis cell phone. The name on the receipt was Issa. I've been to La Marra many times and the food is always consistent. This was my first time ordering the Veggie Platter as the... lunch platter is not available on the weekend. Fresh bread is always provided. The platter included Tabouli, Hummus that wasvery delicious, rice, salad, grapes leaves, falafal and spinach pies. I loved it all, outside of the spinach pies. Ive hadbetter but this restaurant serves fresh, flavorful food. Im eating more plant based and this restaurant has great options.Plenty to share or for leftovers. The person inside could smile and be a little friendlier but maybe thats his personality. Therestaurant has never been occupied or full the times I have been there. Read more
A friend and I came thinking this was Grape Leaves and was surprised to see La Marra in its place. Still, we went in and ordered... a pretty basic carryout. I got a small chicken fattoush salad and baklava. I live less than 15 minutes away and was disappointedwhen I opened the container. Some of the lettuce was already browning and there were 6 very thinly cut pieces of chicken thatwere flavorless and a little dry, even with the dressing. I won't be back anytime soon but I hope the restaurant works out itskinks with the cooking and portions, and improves. Read more
I ordered the lemon garlic chicken and it was fresh and tasty. I was charged .78 to use my debit card. I also was asked for... another 1 for garlic that usually comes for free with a meal. Customer service was pretty good. Overall I would give a 4 Stars.I have ordered this meal at pita cafe just less than a mile away and paid much more. The pricing here is much better overall.
