Got here late on Mother?s Day yesterday & was greeted warmly by a gentleman who told us they had limited offerings remaining but... that he would make up what they had: Ribs, Potato Salad & Baked Beans. I am Texan okay? We do not play with BBQ in Texas. Theribs are hands down the best BBQ ribs I?ve had outside of Texas. I didn?t even think it was possible to compete with Texan BBQin California! Well. This spot makes dreams come true apparently! I now refuse to get BBQ elsewhere. I'm so happy to find Ruby Q by chance on Goole Map. We ordered 3 way combo, spare ribs, brisket, and chicken. All of them are... delicious! I also like their potato salad. He was so easy to talk to and shared his powerful testimony of wanting to cook to make a difference and keep hisfamily history and Oakland roots strong.
