I had a cold soba with tempuras(Jyuwari Soba Tenseiro, 100% buckwheat, $22). I was able to order one, I arrived at there around... 11:30 am. The quality of noodle and tsuyu sauce are pretty good but I still think it's bit pricy. You may get a shared tablewith others, and you may not get a table outside until the inside is full. 4.5 stars for food but service is a little slow (they are nice tho, just slow). The limited soba sold out 15 mins after opening... (a little too limited). Bring patience and you will get good soba and authentic Japanese food in return. We love the mushidori(poached chicken), the soba (both hot and cold) and the desserts (sobacha mousse/pudding). I predict this is soon to become an international foodie destination. Went today for lunch and was blown away by the beautiful... renovation, vastly improved over the funky fusebox. A beautiful environment to enjoy the sublime soba noodles which I had warmwith the shrimp tempura which were extremely fresh and perfectly tender. My only regret is that i didn't get to sample any ofthe small plate items that are offered in addition to the noodles. They all sounded wonderful and I will be back soon. Read more
