I found this vegan restaurant after doing a search for vegetarian restaurants in the Oakville area. I took my vegetarian... daughter and we both enjoyed our meals. She had a black bean burger with tomato, lettuce & Bacun with a side of fries which aresemi-coated in sesame seeds which I had never seen before but enjoyed. I had their Greek poutine which was really good andtopped with delicious olive tapenade, vegan tzatziki, cucumbers, onions and tomatoes. I should have ordered the small as themedium was quite large. As a flexitarian I thought I?d be able to tell the difference between dairy tzatziki and vegan and Ididn?t notice a difference. We will definitely be back to try more of their food. Surprisingly tasty, well presented, and satisfying! When we walked in, the person behind the counter promptly greeted us and... inquired if this was our first visit! It was and he made sure to let us know they were a vegan restaurant and offered to have ussit down or we could place a Togo order. We took a moment and asked a few questions about the ingredients which he knew theanswers too. We ended up going with two burgers, and a loaded fries and a drink. The burger was made to order so the wait was alittle under 8 or 9 minutes. We took it home and dove in. The burger itself was unique but delicious. Definitely better thanmost frozen ?veggie? burger options. The ingredients on the burger were perfect and well proportioned. The burger wasn?t ?toowet? like so many traditional burger places are now since they burger isn?t allowed to rest. The loaded fries were tasty anddelicious. Their vegan cheese was better than most ?normal? cheese! We will be back! This place gave a lasting first impressionand will now be on my list to recommend to others. Read more
This place is underrated. I am not vegan, but have strong appreciation for vegan food. Besides the fact that the food was... tasty, and the staff are excellent, the main reason for five stars is that the food actually tastes healthy. For instance, I canactually see and taste the seeds and lentils in the patty, as supposed to being another beyond meat. Furthermore, my10-year-old who isnt vegan either, who is very picky with food, is giving it a thumb up at every bite. For an absolutebeginner, I would suggest you start out with their pizza, which tastes exactly the same as a non vegan one.
