Excellent food, nice delicate flavours and good sized portions. We ordered the salmon and chicken terriaki dinners, which... included soup, salad and rice. It was our first time ordering and we are looking forward to trying their other dishes! Delicious???? Read more
I don't think saying they have great service does this place any justice. What I think is not said in other reviews is that... their great service is genuine. It comes from being proud of what they've built and the quality of food they serve. They arevery attentive and not intrusive. The food is fantastic and the prices are very reasonable. M&E Food: Salad 4/5 - nicely cold, fresh, crunchy. Sauce were evenly spread. Miso 4/5 - thumbs up for pre stirred. Tasty exactly... as it supposed to be. Temperature was perfect. Ramen 3/5 - I really liked the egg inside, it was perfectly boiled with softheart. Also pork belly tasted standard. Soup & bamboo was blend. Tuna lover 2.5/5 - Tuna sashimi did not have much texture,flavour like other good ones I had before. Tuna sushi was below average for taste and texture also. Maybe the fish wasn?t veryfresh or they didn?t get better quality products? Spicy tuna roll was surprisingly the outstanding one I would give it a 3.5/5on its own. Service: 4/5. I was the only there when dining so I would not know how good their services are when busy. Butserver did check up on my food twice, also came third time to refill my tea cup. His timing on table check wasoutstanding. Vibe: 3.5/5 - it?s hidden in a quiet community. I was attracted by their logo sign at first. Store actually biggerthan it looks on internet. I got saba shioyaki (salt grilled mackerel), veggie miso ramen and tempura dinner. Very good price! The mackerel was... exceptional. Perfectly grilled fish that I will definitely come back for again many times more. Tempura was good too. The sidesalad that comes with the set meal is dressed with a surprising ginger+fruity tasting sauce that is distinct from any side saladI?ve ever had at other sushi restaurants in this country.
