First, the confusion starts with the name of the restaurant. All around the internet, they call themselves ?Hyderabad Briyani... House?, but their name tag in the location is ?Oakville Briyani House? not sure why they can?t follow single name for theirestablishment. Coming to the food, today I tried Panner Masakali & Veggie Briyani. In their menu, Panner masakali was tagged aschef special & I expected too much I believe. All I tasted in that was Panner + capsicum pepper tossed with turmeric. Next onthe Briyani, thou Briyani tastes good only if it?s a non-veg one. I have tasted many veggies Briyani of Hyderabad style andnever this bad. Even the Briyani tasted like a bowl of turmeric rice. on top of this, I made the mistake of getting mango Lassi.Which didn?t have any flavor of mango ???? , thou it had yellow color may be because of turmeric & it hardly had any sweettaste. Hardly fulfilled my expectations for a restaurant claiming Hyderabad cuisine. The 2 star is also for the speed ofservice. Definitely, this is a place I may not visit anytime soon. Based on the other reviews here maybe we got lucky? But the we ordered 2 curries and the paneer app, honestly the BEST Indian... food I have had outside of Toronto. The food was well seasoned, aromatic, complex taste, it was truly amazing! Even the rice andthe naan were beautifully seasoned as well. I have to say that I was very impressed with the service here. I was in a bind and needed take out Indian food one day after... Ramzan. I called this restaurant, he helped me plan what to take out, advised me of his quantities and had everything ready inrecord time. Initially I was nervous that he only had a 3.8 rating, but went with his willingness to help me, and his going outof his way to be of service and decided to take a chance. So happy I did. Got Food today. The Aromas as you waked in was wonderful. After a plate, I called and spoke to one of the owner. Nothing but... great things to say about the food and the many flavors. I live in Oakville, about a 5 minutes walk, and will definitely bea regular. Please try this place. I do understand they are many styles off Biryani but this is a good one. I do wish them welland hope they will be around. Lovely. Read more
