This place is absolutely delicious. Just by chance my friend and I looked up halal places to eat in Oakville and given the... reviews, ordered takeout. We tried the lamb kababs and the pulled noodles with beef. The food is absolutely delicious and veryflavorful. I was so amazed at how good the food was and I am looking into trying other options off the menu. Also planning onbringing my family here too for a dine in experience. First time trying Uyghur cuisine and was pleasantly surprised by the flavours! Lamb skewers (5/5) - so well cooked and super... flavourful! I?m usually not a fan of lamb but this didn?t have the gamey taste I dislike! Has a good kick of cumin and spiceswithout being overpowering. Traditional Lahmen (3/5) - I was expecting this to be a thicker noodle but turns out it?s a thinnoodle. The sauce is very deep in flavor and with lots of aromatics in the dish however it was overly salty, particularly themeat that kind of just drowned the dish. The food is on the pricier end as the restaurant is going for a more fine diningexperience but since this type of food isn?t commonly found in this area, I would say it?s worth a shot! This was my first time having Uyghur cuisine and I enjoyed it a lot! We were a party of 6 and had the chicken cold noodles, beef... short rib noodles, chicken stew noodles, the rice pot and lamb skewers. I usually don?t eat lamb and this was one of the fewtimes I did, and liked it! However, the rice and beef short ribs with noodles were actually my favourite dishes of the evening.They were a little heavy on the seasoning and maybe more noodles or carbs would?ve gone well with the stew, but overall, it wasa delicious meal.
