We hosted our Engagement Party at the Lion's Den in King's Arms and we had a fantastic experience. Booking is easy, and the... managers are extremely helpful in answering any questions and were very kind to help us figure out food and drink arrangements.They gave us an in-person tour of the upstairs so that we could plan where to put karaoke equipment, where the tables and decorwould be, and where food would be served. This alleviated a lot of stress and pressure on the day of the event as everything wasalready figured out. On the day of the event, the bartenders and servers were incredible. Extremely friendly and excellentservice, and food and drinks were all delicious and reasonably priced. We will be booking the Kings Arms again for upcomingevents. Read more
One of the best meals I have had at a restaurant in a long time. The patio has a nice vibe and the service is good.
Great food, comfy vibe, and nice staff. The burger and NY Strip steak was excellent. The burger was fantastic- well cooked with... great sauce and a crispy bun, and the steak was great- the sauce on top and parmesan truffle cheese fries made for a nice touchof earthy flavor. The wings we ordered as an appetizer were crispy and the sauce was good, but they didn't taste veryfresh. The overall vibe was great, with good decor and lots of TV's, but it was very cold inside. Last night was actually the first time I?ve been to this restaurant (other than to quickly scope it out) and I hosted a 30th... birthday event in the lions den, which is a private lounge on the second floor, and I can honestly say I couldn?t have asked fora better experience. The lounge is equipped with its own bar and separate washrooms, and has a cool edgy look to it. The lionsden was a comfortable size for my party of 30 people, and probably could have fit another 20 easily. Rob the owner is a beautyand accommodated all our requests, and made a point to check in several times throughout the night to make sure everything wasrunning smoothly. The staff were very friendly and super attentive from the moment we arrived, and we honestly had so much funwe stayed right until close. Also, THE FOOD WAS AMAZING! Rob sent me a list of party platters I could order in advance, and Ichose a meat and cheese platter, veggie platter, vegetable spring rolls, chicken tacos and pulled pork sliders. I was blown awayby the quality of the food and my friends have been raving about it ever since. The tacos and sliders were a fan favourite. Ifyou?re looking for a spot to host a private event where you can mingle with your people, this is it.
