Fine dining in a way that Ocean City deserves. It's was delicious and adventurous, while maintaining the ease and lovely... atmosphere that lives up to it's name. The Hobbit offered some of the best entrees and drinks in town. Roasted Duck waswonderful. Their crab cake was the most rewarding we have had, because it is all crab and no fillers. The Porch Pounder was thebest mule-like drink I have had, and the dessert drinks were rivaled only by the main dessert, courtesy of Mary. If you're intown, get a reservation at The Hobbit and you'll love it. Read more

We absolutely LOVED this fine dining restaurant! The theme, atmosphere, service, and food were all top-notch! The hostess staff... opened the door and greeted us upon arrival and when we were taken to our table, we were surprised with a congratulatory noteand bottle of champagne to celebrate our recent engagement while at the beach. We ordered the fried green tomatoes to start andit was the best food I ate all week in OC. It was hard deciding on an entree so me and my fiancé both ordered the short rib,but after eating there, I?m confident I?d enjoy anything offered on that menu, seriously! We ordered the house special dessertand a classic crème brûlée to end the meal while we enjoyed a beautiful view of the gorgeous sunset over the bay. We willdefinitely be returning to this place, the service and food were miles better than other fine dining choices we tried earlier inthe week while in OC. Thank you for a great experience! I cannot say enough wonderful things about this place! First, the atmosphere is amazing! So warm and welcoming. The view speaks... for itself. Secondly, our waiter Brian was the best! So friendly and knowledgeable. He was attentive and remembered things wehad mentioned we liked. Lastly, the food was the best food I may have ever had. We splurged and got the Cream of Crab soup,Stuffed Filet and Creme Brule. Everything was fresh, hot and cooked perfectly. The cocktails are great. The Hobbit Sunrise is amuch larger drink than I was expecting. The Shire Garden Margarita has green peppers in it. Read more

We tried a new place for dinner down at the beach for our son's 19th Birthday. 1st off we hit traffic coming from Lewes, DE and... we were 10 mins late for our reservation and they welcomed us as soon as we walked in and sat us no issues. The inside wasbeautiful, but the view was amazing! We had Keenan as our waiter and he recommended drinks, food, and desserts to try. Not onlywas he very attentive to anything we needed, I wanted a fruity tropical drink and unfortunately I just recently found out I amallergic to pineapple, so he told the bartender and they made me a very good drink without pineapple juice. I was very gratefulfor their kindness in finding something fruity that didn't contain my allergy. Every food item we had from start to finish wasabsolutely delicious! We highly recommend everyone to give them a try. Read more

Great dinner as always, beautiful views and great food. Have been here multiple times?this is a nice break from the typical... ?tourist beach restaurant? experience. The food is wonderful, great flavors and presentation, and a very good cocktail and winelist. As there are big glass windows facing the bay, no matter where you are seated you will have a great view, especially asthe sun is setting during dinner. Dinner was excellent, portions are nicely sized, and usually come with a small addition ofrice or a vegetable. Some of the meals come with a side, others don?t depending on the meal, but you can order from a sideselection if you like. A couple issues; one is that because the restaurant is very open to allow everyone views of the bay, theflat windows, walls and ceilings allow conversations to bounce around the room and it is extremely loud with all the tables fulland everyone talking. Definitely needs some some professionally placed acoustic sound treatment panels, which would easily takecare of the issue and drop the volume significantly. The other was for some reason our white tablecloth looked like it had beenballed up before being put on the table?weird because it was so wrinkled it was noticeably distracting. Price is as expectedfor a nicer beach restaurant? we averaged $70 per person for a meal with cocktails, wine, and desert. Wouldrecommend?definitely! Will we come back?absolutely! Read more
